Max was adopted yesterday and is now with his new family. Whilst in foster Max really came out of his shell, such a lovely boy and full of beans.
Max came into The Sanctuary on Saturday afternoon. His owner had to go into a care home, he is a cute, playful, friendly little soul and his settling in with one of our foster carers whilst Pat assesses him for adoption. We will keep you posted!

Our dedicated volunteers in Waterford have found Spike a brilliant new home with three other dogs. As you can see enjoying his first Christmas dinner with his new family.
Our fabulous girls who run our Shop on the Quay in Waterford are also animal volunteers. They take in and foster and re-home pets after suitable home checks. They take in so many animals off the street who need their care. The Public also take unwanted pets to the Shop when they can no longer…
Slippy The Dear came to the Deise Animal Sanctuary back in June this year. Slippy’s mother was nowhere to be found, so baby Slippy got the care and attention she needed here at the Sanctuary. Slippy will reside with us until it is safe to release her back into the wild.
